The Good: everyone who works here is very friendly and seems to be knowledgeable regarding the products they sell and their implementation. They have a very large and diverse inventory of everything you would possibly need to grow your tomatoes whichever way you like. They recently moved into a larger building which has much better parking and an improved store layout. The Bad: Pricing is very high, between 20-35% more. Just one example, 1 gal. FloraNova selling right around $60 online, is priced $89 in this store which is almost $95 after tax. These guys are definitely "old school", a variety of HID and florescent lighting can be found, but not a single LED. If they cut prices 15% and stocked a few decent LED lights, I would adjust this review immediately to 4 stars- these are my chief complaints. The UGLY: Misleading claims, exaggerations and omissions, will always come back to haunt you- even when advising a seeming novice. Telling me that "HID lights use about as much electricity as a TV" is simply not a true statement. Maybe a giant CRT from the 80's left on for 18 hours a day does, but energy bills do not lie. Green Mountain Grow has a lot of potential and friendly, knowledgeable people.

I've done many grows have used hps led and cmh I've got to say they are the ones who got me to switch to cmh and I could not be happier with the out come save a bunch on light bill and yield has Ben the best since owning them Matt has allways ben there threw the question I've asked and has Ben there to help out and at times he has charged me nothing thanks for the great service happy growing
