I decided to send my granny flowers since she moved to the nursing home. I googled flower shops back home since I live 100miles away and decided to use Raintree as they had five stars. I got on their website and chose same day delivery and picked a bouquet that was offered, entered all necessary info, paid etc all by 1130 to ensure it was done by noon since the website stated same day orders had to be in by noon. Done- easy right? Nope!!! I get a call around 1250 stating the designer was out for the day at drs appointments and they didn’t even have the flowers I requested in stock- mind you that were offered on the website! The earliest a truck would deliver flowers would be tomorrow afternoon. I was told designer had drs appointments every three months and I just happened to place an order on the day she’s out. I asked if I could receive a discount since the website told me same day delivery and now I’m being told at the earliest my order would be delivered on Wednesday and was told no. They best they could offer me was to void my order. This is horrible customer service! I try to support local small businesses when I can but this proves sometimes it’s not worth the hassle.
