What an amazing experience and well worth the time and money. I can't remember our helpers name. We had 2 one was the sweetest young woman and also Josh. They were so helpful and willing to take time to help and explain the process. Even if we didn't make our money back in finding Gems that's not the full purpose. It was a great learning experience of what miners have to do on a basic level and patience. I thoughly enjoyed shifting through gravel finding little treasures with my family. My helper even reshifted when we were done to see if we missed anything. This was the perfect 22nd wedding anniversary activity. Reminded you it takes patience, humour, communication, and lots of little surprises throughout the time spent together working towards a common goal. Thank you so much for making this a wonderful fulfilling day!!❤️. We'll definitely be back.

One of my favorite places to go every summer. When I have guests from out of state, this is a MUST!! We all go away with loads of sapphires, and great stories!! If you haven’t been, go!! They’ll teach you everything you need to know!

Buy a $20 bag of dirt and rocks and spend 30+ minutes mining for sapphire! We ended up buying a second bag and staying for an hour or so. We all had a great time. The customer service is fantastic, and the employees all seem to genuinely enjoy doing what they do.
