The description of McCloud Market I have seen are really spot on. Not a gourmet grocery, but very complete on standard grocery items. On the long running radio show A Prairie Radio Companion one of their faux sponsors was Ralph's Pretty Good Grocery whose motto was "If you can't find it at Ralph's, you can get along (pretty good) without it." which also goes for the McCloud Market.

I stopped in the McCloud Market for bacon and sausage. The bacon they had was apple smoked with an equal balance of meat and fat. Finding good bacon is even better than "Better than Sex cake" . The sausage was a nice rough grind and not an over mixed mush. I look forward to breakfast tomorrow and bacon omletes for one and all.
